mexican have 65%-80% spanish admixture

Yes, there are Spanish looking people in the North. Some places in Northern Mexico the average person has 65%-80% Spanish admixture and the rest Amerindian. You do still find people that are more Amerindian than that (60% etc.) but I am sure the difference in height depends in the Amerindians rather than in the level of European admixture because even in Yucatan, Oaxaca, the predominantly European people that live there, are pretty short too. On the other hand, even Indigenous dudes from the North are somehow taller.

I am 6'0, definately above average here by somehow considerable margin (the average is around 1.75 or so), and I still have a good quantity of friends taller than me.

When Southern people come here, they're generally below our height.

I think it could have to do with Alimentation, too.
