federer is the best fast court player ever, they had to slow down pretty much everything to make the tour competitive because federer was owning everyone (and because there were more baseline grinders/claycourters coming up). kind of like golf where they 'tiger-proofed' their courses, or basketball with the 'jordan rules'...
the us open is still fast but i don't think it's this fast any more

yeah this roddick has winning record against djokovic and davydenko has winning record against Rafa so yeah they were very tough players it was RF who made them look like average...
