There was an ancient Upper Nile population called Anu/Annu. They were the
original builders of the shrine at Heliopolis. Archaeological images show these
Anu elders with head dresses with a protruding frontal piece. This resembles (is
almost exactly like) the head gear worn by the Ainu elders in the 1920's photos
I have seen from Northern Japan. These, in turn are exactly like those worn by
the Ainu (Micmac) elders of the Eastern Canada seaboard. Any ideas about this
possible connection?
